Test Subject 1 is a lobotomite living in the Big MT.It was created before The Great War in the Y-17 medical facility. Based on information found on terminals throughout Big MT the subject is either a Chinese prisoner or American volunteer.
Background
Test Subject 1 is a unique lobotomite that would appear to be the "leader" at The Cuckoo's Nest. Its name suggests it might be the first lobotomite created by recent Think Tank activity.
Test Subject 1 is fixed at the maximum level of 50, whereas all other lobotomites are set at the player's current level. As a result, Test Subject 1 is relatively strong compared to other lobotomites when the player is at low levels, but is identical to them when the player reaches very high levels.
Test Subject 1 always carries a protonic inversal axe, as well as a random leveled weapon.
