The Techatticup mine is a location in the Mojave Wasteland, located south-east of Camp Nelson. It contains a variety of Legion troops who have captured two NCR troopers.
Background
Also known colloquially in the past as Knob Hill Mine, this hole in the ground is at the turnaround at the end of the road from Nelson, and seems to have been a dumping ground, or storage area for radioactive waste that the Legion now occasionally utilizes.[1]
Layout
After a short winding path from the entrance, there is a small chamber with Legion troops, and paths leading left and right. To the left is a larger chamber with more Legion troops and Alexus, the Legion leader, who has a key to the gates leading to the NCR prisoners.
To the right is a short path to another small chamber with four Legion troops and two locked gates leading to two storage areas, each containing a tied-up prisoner and some loot. When heading east, you can go down a cliff to find a group of eight Caesar's Legion members.

Notes
- There is a hollowed-out rock directly to the right of the mine's entrance, the rock is marked with 2 white rectangles.
- The bottom of the mine seems to be highly irradiated.
- Directly southeast of the mine is the Deathclaw promontory (across the Colorado River through the space in between the rocks).
Appearances
The Techatticup mine only appears in Fallout: New Vegas.
Bugs
- When approaching the mine, the troops outside will not attack you, even if you're vilified by Caesar's Legion.
