Actually this information is duplicated in Jalbert Brothers Waste Disposal article. Decision has to be made whether leave this article and remove information from Waste Disposal article or redirect from here to the main article. RDGST 19:23, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Some of the information about the abandoned shacks is mentioned on that page, more than when I first made this one, but this page lists a definitive loot section while the other does not. These shacks, though not specified as a location on the map, are definitely not the same place as the waste disposal place. That article excludes a lot of information in here, and personally I don't think that this article should redirect there, otherwise I would have just put all that information into the Jalbert Brothers article rather than making a new page. I saw the place mentioned as "abandoned shacks west of so and so, etc" on several pages, as there is quite a bit of loot here, and made the connection that it deserves its own page even though there is no "official" title. The Creels

I don't think this really makes much sense. Couldn't that be anywhere in the capital wasteland? There are a lot of raiders and I don't think Maggie or Billy even mention where she was rescued.

Actually, Billy did say that he found Maggie in "a small settlement up north." Because of that, I have always thought he may be referring to the Clifftop Shacks a little southeast of Oasis. Blutteufel 18:26, September 24, 2010 (UTC)

Non-accessible shack

I think the non-accessible shack will become accessible in a new DLC. What does everyone ealse think?Tehuberleetmaster 23:01, 13 August 2009 (UTC) That is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard.

Umarked Location

"possibly no-bug"

maybe this: "If you wait too long to explore the village sometimes the hostile ghouls will be dead and most of the loot will be gone, excluding the skill books" isnt a bug.

when i visited the village, a super mutant spawned there (i used stealth boy) and after he killed some of the wastelanders a Yao Guay spawned there also.

Residents hostile while wearing Ghoul Mask

I had the Ghoul_mask on and they still attacked me. Is this a bug or are they a specific faction that is hostile? GRPeng (talk) 19:25, March 17, 2014 (UTC)
