Game crashes at Nephi (PC) Edit

Whenever I go to kill driver Nephi, my game seems to crash due south of McCarran, around the turnoff for the road leading towards the rock smasher plant, I'll be running with first recon towards the road, turn down the road, get the chance to loot maybe one body as the framrate drops to about 30 and then suddenly my game just exits with no notification or warning. I haven't the first clue as to what causes it. My framerate just drops and then the game stops. Zarts 05:24, October 28, 2010 (UTC) Meh, Worked once I took another route there. Derp. Can't Ask Little Buster about Cook-Cook Edit

I chose Cook-Cook as my last bounty, and when I talk to Little Buster I have no options to ask him about Cook-Cook/Queenie, but I can't. Bug? OverlordXenu 00:00, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

I found his dead body. I must have killed him a while ago, as that was the original route I took to New Vegas. OverlordXenu 00:24, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

Essential to kill? Edit

Do i have to have this quest in order to be able to kill all three of these guys? or can i just kill them whenever? Nosferus 07:14, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Beware of Boone. Edit

Because Boone frequently aims for enemies heads he can become quite an annoyance and will often pop your bounty's head. Solution: leave Boone behind for the duration of your hunting. Alternative: save before you tackle a bounty and bum rush the fiend boss with, say, magnum rounds to the chest. Don't worry, Boone's got your back

I did the quest but killed cook cook before the quest and waited 24-48 hours went to through the north entrance and didn't find him at freeside and instead found him alive at camp mccarran is this a bug or did i do something wrong?

energy criticals Edit

So I wonder if disintegration damages the heads, i mean i obviously does, but will it lower the money you get?--ChromeCrow 17:39, February 22, 2012 (UTC)

You're probably better off saving before-hand and checking to see if you get their head or their mangled head. If the mangled head is in their inventory then you'll get less. UserGreatMaraMessage 17:52, February 22, 2012 (UTC)

Asking for 1st Recon help? Edit

While it says there's option to ask 1st recon for help, is there any REQUIREMENTS for that option to occur? Like, completing "I don't hurt anymore" quest? Or any of the other quests involved?

1st Recon moves with partial completion? Edit

Has anyone else had the 1st Recon move to Camp Forlorn Hope after just partially completing the quest? For me, the 1st Recon went to Camp Forlorn Hope as soon as I turned in Driver Nephi's head.

Bugs Edit

I added a Bugs section because I experienced a quest-breaking bug on the PS3. I've not expereienced the same bug on PC but I assume it would be easy to get around using console commands.

Essentially, what happened was that I encountered and killed Cook-Cook (or perhaps Boone did) before starting the quest. There was a flamer on the ground but his body was nowhere to be found. I searched the whole area thoroughly, radiating out from where I found the flamer.

When I started this quest and chose the bounty on him, the map marker points me back to where the flamer was, and it's just empty ground. The other Fiends in the area respawn but Cook-Cook does not.

I assume his body "fell through" the ground somehow because I've experienced that quite a lot on the PS3 specifically for some reason. Sometimes even live actors do too. Very annoying.
