// I have the quest where you get the Boomers support, but I have the quest to get them to support either the NCR or Mr. House and I told both of them that they'll support them, then at the final battle for Hoover Dam the boomers didn't show (I sided with the NCR by the way). Is there a way to talk to the Boomers again and get them to support the NCR.

// Edit - I have both quests active, (Ring-a-Ding-Ding! and Things that go boom) so the previous statement is false. (needs citation)

Edit 2 - I can confirm that completion Quest "Ring-a-Ding-Ding!" is NOT required to begin the NCR path. (same here) //

The reward stated is wrong, the caps you get ARE from george but he doesn't give the quest. Ambassador Dennis Crocker gives the quest and the reward was 200 exp. George is an unmarker side quest that is optional to getting to the Boomers.

Edit - 4: I added a sentence that tells the players they have to see Dennis Crocker!

A thing.[]

"If you have reached the stage in The House Always Wins, III, where you can inform Mr. House that the Boomers will support him, you cannot then ask Pearl to support the NCR. "
You don't ask "Will you support Mr. House?" though. You ask if they'll support YOU. Meaning, whichever fraction you endgame with they help out. Right?JASPER//"Do you like hurting other people?"UserRichard 21:58, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

NCR rep[]

If you do this mission for the NCR, will crocker pardon you of any crimes you commited against them (I have to sneak around in NCR just to get to the embassy and his letter said he had the power to do so), and will completing this quest fail any of the other main quest paths? - Texas Ranger 02:25, December 4, 2010 (UTC)

Hated[]

I walked up the ramp at the main gate of Nellis AFB, and the Boomers at the gate became hostile, forcing me to kill them, and I'm now hated. Is it possible to get from "hated" to "Idolized" if I do all of their quests? --Rnnlmb 23:54, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Quest without having completed ring-a-ding-ding first[]

I got this quest without having completed ring-a-ding

sry didnt see that other people already stated that out^^

Journal Entries.[]

Are the journal entries different on the pc or ps3? I play on the Xbox 360 version and most of the journal entries are worded differently.

What just happened?[]

I was at Nellis AFB before this quest was even activated and the NCR guy who tells you to see Ambassador Crocker was killed by artillery and the kill is pinned on me, causing me to fail the quest. Any one know a way to keep him from dying?

Fail Crockers quest? I don't see how that would fail a Boomers quest.. Anyway, reload a previous save and fast travel away from the base so he can find you without getting blown up.--Battlecattle 01:20, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

He's referring to the "Things That Go Boom" quest. Not "Volaire!" or any of the other Boomers associated quests. That quest fails automatically if that NCR trooper is killed.--174.0.106.101 05:32, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah apparently I'm not very good at reading forum names, like 10 minutes after I was done replying I realized what he was talking about.. facepalm --Battlecattle 05:41, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

Special Dialogue?[]

Is there any special dialogue with the Boomers if your companion dies (in hardcore) from their artillery fire? --Mr.Orange 12:49, August 4, 2011 (UTC)

Bug?[]

When I talk to Crocker after Things That Go Boom and say "They are working for me", the quest ends but two hostile NCR-MPs appear. When I kill them the complete NCR becomes hostile even if my reputation is still good. When I say "They are working for 'us'" the quest ends normal.--88.66.206.138 06:12, August 7, 2011 (UTC)

Where is he?

I have started a new playthough, got to the strip have done a lot of running around there, and leaving the 38 a few times, already whacked Benny and done a few of the other Casino missions, but I have not been approached by the NCR dude to start this. Anyone know of the console code required for me to "start" the quest? --LBraden 22:49, October 21, 2011 (UTC)

Already idolized with Boomers[]

Playing PS3 Ultimate edition, was already idolized with boomers, when I went to see Crocker, he still activated the quest - just saying that my being already friends with them would make things easier. I still had to go to Pearl to get her to confirm support then return to Crocker. This cleared NCR reputation as promised. I suspect any problems with this that occurred previously have been corrected in patches. Jaguara333 (talk) 20:47, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
