Can someone with a GECK check this out, see if there's a script attached? Sounds more like Bloody Mess to me. [[User:Nitpicker of the Wastes|Nitpicker of the Wastes]] 15:12, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

:Yarly.... I frequently see "all limbs detach" when I shoot a raider in the head with a single pistol round. (Bloody Mess was a lot more realistic-looking in the previous Fallout games, in which the death animations were matched to the type of attack that killed the enemy.... oh, well.) So can we confirm that this axe adds a special dismemberment effect that is unrelated to Bloody Mess? I need to learn how to use this GECK thingamabob. (Well, what do you know... "thingamabob" is actually recognized as a word by Firefox's spell checker...) [[Special:Contributions/12.204.48.130|12.204.48.130]] 07:24, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

From the name, I'd think it did extra limb damage, like Jack. Thoughts? R3dflag 01:34, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Dismemberer

Anyone know where to find it?

You know, the article has a section called "Obtaining" which explains just that. -- Porter21 (talk) 22:27, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

not complaining but the article is hardly descriptive and useful yet.

The DLC has been out for 12 hours. The article states you get it for completing Plik's Safari. Going to that article you will find that Pilk's Safari takes place in the Coastal Grotto. How does that not answer your question where to find the Dismemberer? -- Porter21 (talk) 22:42, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

you need to chill out, im sorry. When i first posted the article hadnt been updated, i now have the dismemberer. I am sorry to have upset you.

lol, you didn't upset me ;) -- Porter21 (talk) 22:50, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Im glad, btw, is there any use at all for yeast?

It's used in the A Spoonful of Whiskey quest. You have to bring three bags of yeast to Marguerite (along with Punga Fruits and Fission Batteries). -- Porter21 (talk) 22:56, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

k, thanks :D

Is this worth it?

I've already got it, but is this axe really worth 1,000 caps and fighting off... 20, 25 Reavers? I don't think so. Nitpicker of the Wastes 14:50, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Nothing is worth fighting off 25 reavers. Fat Man Spoon 14:55, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Note to self: Come to Point Lookout at earlier level. Can I just un-install Broken Steel before level 21 and the end of the MQ? Or are these Reavers included in Point Lookout too? Nitpicker of the Wastes 14:57, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
I wouldn't advise un-installing broken steel. Fat Man Spoon 15:00, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
I downloaded this BEFORE Broken Steel, and only added BS when I was getting close to 20. @Nitpicker - There are Reavers in Point Lookout REGARDLESS of whether you have BS or not. Made it pretty hard at level 10 > > --202.173.129.187 03:19, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

"All limbs detach, killing the target instantly"
