Strange Graphical ErrorEdit

Soon after acquiring RL-3 at a low level, I found a raider-occupied cave. After clearing it out and leaving, I soon realized that Dogmeat, with whom had also been traveling, had vanished. I reloaded a previous save, thinking that he may have died somehow, and saw that he was nowhere to be found. However, whenever I look in RL-3's direction, the screen becomes a mess of gray and green shapes, consistent with RL-3's colouration, with RL-3 himself floating in the midst of it. I reloaded again and the same thing happened. After waiting for twelve hours, Dogmeat came back but RL-3 is still experiencing the graphical error, and I will most likely have to reload an even earlier save-game. Change to companion infoEdit

At the top it says "and can be a companion in 2277" Shouldnt this be changed to "and is a possible companion in fallout 3"?

Aimless BotEdit

If tinker joe is killed before you get to him (as in my case), RL3 will just aimlessly wander the countryside killing whatever hostile he spots. Player will not be able to interact with him other than getting a short one liner. Mechacode 08:57, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

Being Pedantic.. Edit

It completely makes him masculine - he has a "gender" in the anthropological sense. However, you are right that he has no "sex" in the biological sense. Gender ¬≡ Sex. Plus plasma pistols and flamethrowers are clearly euphemisms. 85.210.11.85 21:58, August 16, 2011 (UTC)

Turns out, you *can* get Sergeant RL-3 killed Edit

Went to clear out Fort Bannister (Talon Company Stronghold) after the BoS water caravan got jacked. Jensen got himself killed even after I freed him. I went into HQ and cleaned out the place one corridor at a time. Turns out, Sergeant RL-3 *can* die if enough firepower overwhelmed him. I got surrounded by Talon guys and even with 3 BoS knights around me and I'm fully decked out level 26 with some heavy firepower I still got worn down to half health.

The status still says "severely damaged", though I did get the companion "Sergeant RL-3 has been destroyed!" pop-up before. There's no option to repair, and I can only loot its corpse like anything else.

Wonder if there's a replacement, and why isn't this listed under Mister Gutsy variants?

Also, the Talon guys have a "Corporal Reaver", also a Mister Gutsy.

HELP Question about the Sarge leaving me! Edit

Will I loose Sergeant RL-3 if my karma changes AFTER I buy him? So lets say I steal a bunch of stuff or save a fluffy kitten from a wood chipper, would moving into positive or negative from neutral cause him to disparty? ~a nooblet 24.107.239.136 21:51, January 26, 2013 (UTC)

I found why. While it is not in the game, it, along with many other characters and items from 3, are in Fallout: New Vegas's files, just unused. Somebody found this and decided to add that it's in New Vegas, which is incorrect. Paladin117^{>>iff bored;} 17:32, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
