Can you kill Ron the Narrator, or is that classified as "interacting" with him?

I once knocked him out, after I had tried to beat up yes man. After speaking with him, my meelee weapon appeared at the beginning of the prologue and just before it was holstered, i had held down the attack button. My character swung my weapon and a it said in the corner " Ron the narrator is unconscious "
