Rename?[]

a lot of folks in new vegas refer to the capital as shady sands so shouldnt the title be changed back to shady sands?

A bit random, but does anyone know where this city would be in real-life California? Like exact coordinates or the closest real city?

Disambig[]

Shouldn't this page be a disambig? This page seems to be referring to both the township in Fallout 2, and Shady Sands. which are two separate cities, aren't they? TimeoinSay G'DayView my work 14:32, October 16, 2013 (UTC)

Shady Sands no longer exists as of Fallout 2. Tandi took the sandy decrepit town and made it into the prosperous NCR we know today. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 14:44, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
Well, it is still called Shady Sands by some people. (According to NPC's from Fallout New Vegas, and FNV was made by the original developers.) So it might be an exchangeable name. Shady Sands might refer to an area or might be in use as an alternate name. --Sansuni (talk) 19:08, October 19, 2015 (UTC)

Definitive Merge[]

I petition that the following articles be merged: Shady Sands, Shady Sands (Fallout), and New California Republic (town). I propose the following article to take the place of all three: Shady Sands (Town) - pending possible dropping of the "(Town)" if merging is deemed acceptable. I don't agree with this. Merging Shady Sands and Shady Sands (Fallout), ok we can look at that, but not with New California Republic (town). It becomes way too bulky, the overview of the town between the different games becomes lost. Also it's two different games/two different names, at least two different pages.
