Repair[]

- The My First Workbench can repair your current weapons to maximum condition! You first need to put any weapon on top of the workbench and then wait about a week or two for your house to reset. Once your house has reset, go check the weapon on the workbench and it should be in maximum condition. This is not a glitch, its supposed to be like you are working on it over time, and you eventually repair it all the way. It is a nifty REAL feature put into the game. Very rpg style.
- Sadly, you cannot instantly repair existing weapons with a workbench (takes a week, see above).
I am not sure if the glitch to repair your weapons works on the 360. Does it? and how long does it actually take? I have tried different weapons, time frames, everything. I do not know if it is able to work on the 360 , Please clarify this.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Rinnzla (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
- (Wikify please) Perhaps this is NOT a glitch, but a feature. See if we can repair things in places other then the workbench, if not it's not a glitch which makes the workbench useful indeed.-Accountless Avenger
This might seem like a stupid question but how do I put the item on the workbench to repair it?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.178.105.49 (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
- To drop an item open the inventory and right-click on the name. Exit the Pip-Boy view and the item will drop to the floor. Position your crosshair over the item and with "Z" key pressed drag it onto the workbench. RDGST 20:56, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
I tested this with various weapons (xbox) while sleeping in the house for a week or more. Didn't work, perhaps one needs to sleep in a bed outside of your home for a week? Does it not reset when you're in it? --AshRandom 21:01, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Doesn't seem to work at all for me no matter what way I try it (xbox360), can anyone else confirm or deny that this is a Computer only bug? --AshRandom 03:59, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
I've also tried this on the 360 version with no luck. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me. My buddy tried it on his PC version, and it didn't work either. He could have done something wrong, however. More testers would be nice. Shisizle 00:39, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
I noticed some info about this in some other places, is it true?--96.26.129.246 08:35, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
