Ultra-light or Deep pocketed?[]

Which provides the most advantage of both? WhoeverReadThis (talk)WhoeverReadThis

Ultralight build is superior in almost every way, it results in a overall savings in weight when compared to the added carry weight offset and also gives you more AP to use in Vats or for sprinting (Seventh sage (talk) 20:21, June 10, 2016 (UTC))

Don't have the figures but with all other armor, Ultra Light works out better in terms of carry weight plus it has the Action Point Bonus on top of that. I would say it would be the same for the Marine Armor. DngnRdr (talk) 03:12, June 11, 2016 (UTC)

A bit late to the party but ultra light isn't exactly superior...ultra light reduces weight based on a percentage of the piece of armour it's applied to, whereas deep-pocketed adds a fixed +10 (+20 for torso pieces) pounds extra carrying capacity, not including the weight of the modification itself (a value that's also dependent on the piece of armour it's applied to, typically .2 or .3 lbs). In the case of marine armour, in terms of raw carrying capacity you're better off with deep pockets on everything, while ultra light is useful for those who need/want more AP. --ffs (talk) 12:12, January 20, 2017 (UTC)

EOD[]

What does "EOD" stand for? Roygbiv666 (talk) 22:03, June 10, 2016 (UTC)

Weird armor mod bug[]

I found an Assault Marine torso piece that was way below the stats it should have been. When I "lowered" it to the basic Zealot armor, it turned out to have an Assault Marine leg mod attached. It matched the leg stats and I attached it to the leg with no trouble.

-Edit: To specify, it was the Assault Marine torso piece from the container.

Stats[]

Checked stats after earlier edits, improved heavy Disciples chest piece with upgraded spiked arm and leg armor with helmet had higher DR and ER, with no RR. Statement saying it is only outclassed by power armor probably does need to be rephrased. Great Mara (talk) 23:06, September 6, 2020 (UTC)
