With the Comprehension perk, you get more skill points when reading books.Im removing the +1Conradesc 00:42, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Why? Instead of removing the basic version, it's better to add the comprehension one too. Ausir 00:43, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

I made a (not particulary necessary) note. But i am not english or american, and i know the fact/rumor thing is not correct. If someone who doesn't completely suck at english could replace it with a more fitting word? The great molerat.

Ummm... I'm not sure which one it is, but according to the GECK, this item has a Count of 24, which doesn't count the one Moira gives you (that's under "Use"), so there should be 25.Fiddlesoup 04:52, 15 January 2009 (UTC) Ahh... I see, it's because you can only get one from the house. All right, never mind. I've been going through lists on rare items all day.Fiddlesoup 04:55, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

The page indicates that a Lying, Congressional Style book can be found in the Museum of History entrance. I've searched thoroughly to no avail. The page for the Museum of History doesn't indicate that it is among the "Notable Loot". I don't know where it is supposed to be, but can someone correct the entry, both here, and in Fallout 3 books if they can figure it out?

There is none, there was simply one location too many given. Maybe whoever added that thought of Paradise Lost which also increases your Speech skill and can be obtained from Tulip in Underworld/Museum of History. // Porter21 U | T 22:53, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

The article notes section states that the Lying... book in your Tenpenny suite can respawn, but the editor doesn't know how. Is this part of the thing where letting the ghouls in through the basement causes the books to respawn? --AnyLameName 14:49, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

The duplicate Tenpenny book for Barter is included in the total for Fallout 3 books, but this duplicate is not. I don't care if this is added or that one removed, but it should probably be consistent.

you should watch the content in the Notes section, the aricle is about the book, not the speech skill, it is actually full of garbage text, it is the same for many aricles in this wiki.189.146.51.81

Behind the scenes[]

The following has been removed a couple times from the article and will stay removed:

"The book is obviously a reference to the fact that all American politicians are liars. This is further referenced by the fact that a copy can be found on a podium in the Conference Hall of the Capitol Building. (And in the Pulowski Preservation Shelter outside!)"

The reason it has been removed is that this is not "behind the scenes" at all. It's a direct joke: "Lying, Congressional Style. Haha, Congressmen lie. I get it." It's not a reference to anything. It's a joke. We get it. It does not need to be explained in the article.--Gothemasticator 06:00, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
