Does anyone know who actually sings this song? Would really be useful if we could find that out.

It was composed for and performed in the horrible 1954 film "Garden of Eden". It was a one-off thing. The singer is, or was, a nobody who had hoped to make it big in the music industry. Obviously, that didn't happen. Source. Personally I'm surprised Bethesda found such an obscure piece of music, and if the singer is still alive I am sure she would be delighted to know that her effort actually went somewhere.
