Lost hills reference[]

Has anyone thought of the name of this location as a play on the Lost Hills bunker? I mean, think about it. A hill is the opposite of a valley, and lost and hidden have a similar connotation, that of something with an "unknown" location, the difference being that something hidden is done so by choice and something lost is not. And of course, both are the locations of BOS bunkers.--71.234.106.119 08:07, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

I thought the name meant it had a ranch flavor.

More info on Bunker[]

Is there a page for the Bunker containing the BoS? I need more info on it before I destroy it during the quest For the Republic, Part 2. I mainly want to know if there is any access to the armory, so I wont be losing all the items they are selling.--86.44.142.247 18:37, October 27, 2010 (UTC)

--Just pickpocket the key from the vendor and go "under the floor" to the armory.

Damnit Boone.[]

Well, I cleared the NCR ranger from the bunker, and upon returning to the BoS bunker, everyone turned hostuile and boon started dropping people like flies. Not cool. I reloaded to right when I walked in, quickly left, told boon to stay outside; I waited a couple days then went back in, still, everyone hostile. I can kill them but would prefer not to, also I have a slave collar on and can't leave, which is a bit of a problem. Any1 gotta solution? if I have to I could use a console command(if there is no other way to fix it) if any1 knows one that applies to this situation.

    • Edit: Found out it was because i had just equiped ranger armor. XD my bad.
I think I'm going to need a console command to get me out of the bind that Boone's put me in at Hidden Valley. My last hard save is... a while ago.
Solved with addreputation, eventually.

Hostile despite neutral rep and no NCR armor[]

Any ideas why BoS is attacking me despite my neutral rep and non-faction armor? I tell my companions (cass and Ed-e) to stay, but I can't even get close without being vapoorized. Active quest is Wild Card: side bets on PS3

This happened to me too on the PS3. But I'm not neutral,. I'm "liked". And if it's a bug I think it's the hostilty that's the bug not what it's saying in the pip-boy that's wrong, because I've never committed crimes against them. I was wearing Chinese Recon Armor. I thought it was unlikey but maybe the brotherhood fought China in the past (only played 3 and New Vegas so don't know the history of Fallout too well) so I went in wearing nothing, and they still attacked. I completed Sstill in The Dark a long time ago. I had to use a stealth boy, sneak in kill one and take his armor to be disgiused but I can't stop them from attacking me and they're all red on my radar... It's odd though, the BoS attacks me on sight (in Hidden Valley never meet them outside in the wasteland since this has happened) but the turrents don't attack me as long as they don't witness me attack a BoS person.

Same issue here. Upon meeting the BoS inside the bunker i am attacked. Tried to enter to complete ED-E side quest also tried to enter with Veronica's quest active. I have no reputation with the BoS and have tried entering after dropping all armor and weapons with no change. Ive tried adding reputation through the console as well which had no effect either. Really want to fix this bug... DonutHands 01:37, November 20, 2010 (UTC)

Hey im in the BOS bunker and have got them liking me, theyre not attacking me at all and are in fact quite friendly, ive completed all their quests and the elder has granted me permission to buy from the armory, but the woman there wont sell me anything for some reason, she just say im not allowed and that shes busy. what the hell? --94.126.196.253 09:06, December 22, 2010 (UTC)

Did you enter with all three Brotherhood of Steel mission holotapes? See Torres#Bugs. --Green Sprinkles 09:11, December 22, 2010 (UTC)

treaty?[]

elder macnamara or wat ever says there was a treaty with the ncr. im working for house and since ive made friends with em and think there pretty cool so i thought i would get a treaty with houe and bos so i went there and talked to macmanara there was nothin bew to talk about then i exited dialogue and he said i cant believe we treatied with the ncr is this a bug cause i didnt treaty with them i hate ncr

Confirmation[]

Playstation 3Playstation 3Playstation 3 Every once in awhile upon entering the Brotherhood of Steel Hidden Valley Bunker, the player will notice that the main entrance is barracked by rubble. The inside of the Bunkers is collapsed and destroyed and the player is unable to enter. This occurs mostly during or just after the Sandstorm. It can be fixed by leaving the Bunker and waiting 72 hours [3-days] or by fast travelling to another location and fast travelling back.

Can I get confirmation this a bug and not just a player entering the wrong bunker during the sandstorm. - RASICTalk 12:22, April 15, 2011 (UTC)

It's just the wrong bunker... --Liam1127 14:56, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

Really?[]

Are these really something that constitutes mentioning as a bug?

"After wandering though the bunker and exiting out into the wasteland again sometimes might spawn around 2-5 Bark Scorpions right outside of the bunker you came from."

"In the hill paths leading to Hidden Valley, it is possible to encounter deathclaws from Quarry Junction, including the dreaded Deathclaw alpha. It may pop out from under the hills or rocks."

“Because of the high spawning rate of scorpions, there will be a lot of bugs related to them, such as scorpions spawning partially in the ground, or their corpses getting stretched and bounce up and down repeatedly along the ground.”

These sort of things happen all throughout the Mojave wasteland, its part of the randomness of the game. Most likely the bark scorpions were coming after them when they entered the bunker, so naturally they will be waiting when they come out. Also hidden valley is close enough to Deathclaw territory that one may be near as well. As far as the scorpion being spawned in the ground/rocks that’s a known bug for the entire game. Wait, how?[]

How did BOS find Hidden Valley? I don't remember any references to the place in HELIOS' terminals.

It's generally a very bad idea to leave information about your secret underground base on computers that are about to fall to the enemy. Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 06:07, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

No doubt terminals in the citadel contained references to it, assuming it was a government facility before the war, and the D.C. chapter relayed this information to the Core Region/Mojave chapter of BOS Luck-Favours-The-Damned 22:04, September 1, 2011 (UTC)

How do I abort the self-destruct sequence[]

I started the sequence and then I killed all the brotherhood now i want to loot them so i want to stop the self-destruct sequence and the terminal says Note: Need to implement this - Tagart. I know that tagart is one of the scribes but i dont know what it means to implement him

and believe me they are still alive[]

A while ago I blew up the brotherhood bunker after killing everyone inside. But for some reason, when I went back, the bunker was still completely intact and all of the brotherhood people respawned and are trying to kill me. is this a bug? Willbiteu 15:49, August 12, 2011 (UTC)

Loot removed by patches?[]

I notice the descriptions suggest that the North and East bunkers have loot behind the locked doors - but all I see there is rubble, and no amount of searching reveals anything.

Is it Amazingly Well Hidden? Or really not there anymore?

after you open the doors go through the door way and turn right and left, the loot is in the corner and even though it looks caved in you can go inside just barely.--64.126.90.132 03:52, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

Can't enter after I downloaded all of the DLC.[]

I went inside the bunker tons of times and finished all of the quests, joined the Brotherhood, get power armor training and all that. But, then I downloaded the DLC and I crash whenever I try to enter. Can anyone help?--75.45.1.85 08:20, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

I'm experiencing similar problems. I'm trying to complete I Could Make You Care before The House Always Wins V so I can keep Veronica as a companion. Veronica is with me, and when I try to enter level 2, I get an XBOX 360 console crash, not just a game freeze. I have all DLCs loaded, have yet to isolate the problem. --74.215.244.216 16:03, January 9, 2012 (UTC)

Crashes & Freezing[]

Is it just me, or is the Brotherhood bunker buggy for everyone? Everytime I go down there, I'm forced to save my game every minute or so because the game randomly crashes when I'm down there. Happens mostly when I'm entering or leaving L2, but leaving the bunker can also cause te game to crash... 86.84.20.48 13:08, January 29, 2012 (UTC)Tripletth

useful hollowed out rock[]

when fast traveling to hidden valley, the courier starts out, more or less, in the middle of the valley facing an empty hollowed out rock two or three steps away. after testing it with some loot for several in-game days, it appears to be a safe place to stash stuff the courier may want to save for later, keeping his/her inventory from getting too heavy. seems like a very handy storage container that is quick and easy to access with a simple fast travel, especially early on in the game before the courier has an "owned" home. even with an "owned" home, there is usually some walking and at least one loading screen to go through before reaching a safe storage container. is this something worth mentioning in the hidden valley article? ~~~kev~~~

  • If everyone starts putting their favorite places to store stuff on here, every page would be littered with that. ReapTheChaos 11:55, June 19, 2012 (UTC)

I found another way into the bunker.[]

Just for the record, you can get into the bunker four ways:

♦ Veronica's dialogue

♦ The mission holotapes from the dead paladins

♦ Picking the lock

♦ Lastly, you can sneak into the bunker when the early morning patrol returns. It may be possible to enter when they leave as well. Stealth Boys help loads.

It's not mentioned on the wiki page for either Hidden Valley, or the Hidden Valley Bunker. I don't know how to edit it in, so could someone else do it?
