Karma[]

I believe talking to Paul and saying he's a follower until he leaves is the only way to get good Karma. I don't believe I got good Karma when I fought all three Tunnel Snakes at once (talk to Butch and threaten), but I didn't fight well and they eventually said I wasn't worth the effort (I tried several options here to see what happened). If you have a high enough speech skill, you can persuade Butch DeLoria to stop bothering Amata. You get good Karma using this method. Raptor1770 18:27, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

You can get + 260 karma if you persuade Butch or Wally, or - 260 karma if you help Butch... or do nothing at all and stay at zero karma. --Ra1n 12:52, October 24, 2009 (UTC)

What can you be after you take the G.O.A.T exam?[]

People, when you are finsih whit the test, the teacher will tell you what you become. Can someone write down here, what it is possible to be after the exam? Like for example vault inspector is one thing that you can be. Please write it down on this page.

Outcomes[]

I'm trying to work on getting the outcomes for the GOAT test that you can get.


While one test method could be to test a long string of questions (1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1) then answer one differently starting from the end (1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2; 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,3; 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,4; etc), I belive that not only is this a very ineffient method for testing outcomes and will take almost forever, I belive a simpler method could be used.

If theres anything I know about oblivion dialogue editing, its that you can assign greeting dialogues to only come up when certain conditions are met. And if i were bethseda, I would try to keep this as simple as possible. My theory is that after the 10th question the tags are auto-assigned to the player and Brotch's greeting after the test is based purely on the TAG combination. I will see if there is a way to edit this from the console and see if that changes any of my outcomes. --Rylasasin2008 01:17, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

It would appear as if my theory is incorrect. Using "Settagskills 3" to alter my tag skills before I talked to Mr. Brotch did not change my outcome. The GOAT must have some other system which determines the outcome. If only I could crack open the dailogue to see for myself. --Rylasasin2008 01:30, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Chemistry Set of Time[]

I think its already been patched in the Xbox 360 version but there was a glitch with the chemistry set in the corner of the room during this mission. If you jumped on top of it and kept jumping you would 'fall into the future'.

The area has radroaches and the vault from the Escape! mission, but contains no NPC's. The vault can be escaped from and the rest of the game played as a 16 year old model. It's best to have a high strength skill to knock out the teacher before he talks to you otherwise you are unable to use weapons from there on. --128.243.220.21 13:15, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

Hairstyles[]

The article says that a "frazzled" hairstyle will be changed to "pretty puff" during this quest; my character always has "pretty puff" hair, and I think it was changed to "clean cut" or some other such shaven style (it was hard to tell, since my character is black with black hair, whether there was even hair at all; the dim lighting of the classroom didn't help). Do all hairstyles change? And if so, do they all simply move up to the style listed above them on the character creation menu? 72.18.124.197 13:29, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Weird Bug?[]

I've played Fallout 3 for a while now and have started several new games without a problem, but recently I started a new one and had this glitch. After the blinding light and after speaking with the dad, he walks over to the corner of the room, starts walking backwards, and disappears through the wall. It then shows that HE is the quest marker, so Future Imperfect cannot be continued. If I walk outside his office, Jonas just stands there without walking in, and Amata and the Tunnel Snakes don't even show up. The classroom is also completely empty. I've tried re-loading saves and it did not work. This happened on the X-Box, so I can't use the console. Does anyone have any suggestions? Bobblehead - Medicine[]

Article says that "this is one of only four opportunities to take it".

Four? I thought there is only three of them:
1. Future Imperfect.
2. Escape!
3. Trouble on the Homefront.
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

Which one is fourth?

After GOAT exam Crash[]

after i take the goat exam and go straight out of the classroom, it takes me to three years later and after that it crashes is there a fix or console commands to bypass this?

S.P.E.C.I.A.L. 10 quotes?[]

Should there be a trivia section about if your special stat is 10 the people will say different things about you. I know this is true for intelligence 10. People will call you "nose bleed" and some other stuff (I can't remember exactly). Or is this stuff said regardless of your SPECIAL? 77.2.80.193 08:35, May 4, 2013 (UTC)

Does Brotch always think the PC is a male?[]

Decided to do a playthrough as a chick this time, and when I selected the science/medicine option from the list in order to skip the GOAT, he called me a science BOY, even though I'm playing as a female character.
