If we were to add each legendary variant for each creature it would essentially double every page's variants section and become very messy. Perhaps a small and compact template would work best for legendary enemies and their ID's. --Opifex1 (talk) 20:39, February 4, 2016 (UTC)

:But just not documenting content because it would add size is not a good reason. The point is, it is information that can't be automatically inferred. Not all legendary creatures use the base creature as template, but are their very own creature (just saw the legendary radroach as example). As for page size, it would be generally good to work out a more compact variant. I think that there would be much to be figured out for creature pages (why do we document certain variants and not others seemingly at random, should we limit ourself to the main variants found on levelled lists, or do we document more specialized variants too?). --Alfwyn (talk) 00:22, February 9, 2016 (UTC)

Fallout 4 - Radroach

I can't edit this page so pass on details. Not easy to spot but there is a Radroach shown in the Bethesda E3 video around 14:23-14:25 bottom right on a slope. At first it is facing away, then turns, rears up (typical radroach behaviour) then moves down the slope. Hard to make out much detail however it appears to have a yellow/ golden colour shell. I posted a small image of it as Fo4-e3-radroach.png for info.

Maybe it is just a new creature? It seems odd roaches are yellow now. ☢ Energy X ☣ 19:39, June 24, 2015 (UTC)

Possibly, but the way it turns and rears up on the hind legs is just as Radroaches do previously when threatened as in this example video Also they have changed quite a few of the models for Fallout 4. Colour wise it may just be a variant or part of the remodelling. To me it looks roach like. Viewing the 1080 video does give a bit more detail.

Fallout 4 Bloatfly

In one of the gameplay trailers, while the Sole Survivor is flipping through the inventory of his Pip-Boy, a body part from a bloatfly is listed, along with the bloodbug proboscis (which is already listed in the inventory of that creature on its page). So, I would infer that bloatflies appear in the Commonwealth in Fallout 4. Roulette of the Wasteland (talk) 15:38, July 27, 2015 (UTC)

Dead animals on the beaches

Should those unidentified dead Seal/Whale/Dolphin things that are all over the beaches have their own article? like the birds in fallout 3? --GamingAddict (talk) 22:45, November 28, 2015 (UTC)

Legendary creatures

Currently we don't seem to document legendary creature variants. But I think this is partly because a confusion of the issue with legendary armor/weapons, those are automatically and randomly generated. But legendary creatures have their own id. They use the basic variant of the creature as template, but make adjustments. The Legendary Bloodbug for example uses Bloodbug as template, but adds AbLegendaryPoison as new attack. But legendary creatures are not automatically created (apart from developer cut and paste) from their base creatures and there is no fixed adjustment formula.

Each legendary creature seems to come in two variants, one normal and an ambush variant, not sure so far about the differences. I think at least we should document the id's of the legendary variants, but probably more. --Alfwyn (talk) 20:16, January 18, 2016 (UTC)
