Fast Travel out of Trap[]
I actually was able to fast travel out of Fairfax after falling through the grate. Has anyone else been able to?
No, I went into the door that was down there since the game REFUSED to let me fast travel. There were also trip wires around that area. Basically, if you are coming into this area from Fort Independence, and you get to a 4 way intersection, the far corner to the left has some of the traps including the grate trap that forces you underground. Also, I got here by following Doc Hoff, so apparently, he WILL eventually travel to this location, though with unsatisfactory results if this is your first time here. He survived in my game, but he is always injured and his mercenary/defender died/left. Learner4 16:55, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Parking Meters[]

Trivia[]
Why do people keep editing stupid crap into pages in the trivia section when it obviously has no relation to anything within Fallout 3 and the page it's meant to be related too.
Fable 2 and Fallout 3 were developed at around the same time, just because the castle in Fable 2 was called Fairfax Castle, almost certaintly didnt influence Bethesda's naming of the place. Same goes for a lot of trivia on a lot of pages, like the link between the things being made are so weak, like Lucas Simms could be a nod to George Lucas, because they share a similar name and he casts Samuel L Jackson in star wars and Lucas Simms is also black. I think people need to just stop editing random crappy trivia which obviously isnt real trivia.
Repairing a Gas Valve?[]
While stealth killing raiders, I was hiding by some dumpsters in the Northeastern section when I found a broken gas valve, but I can't figure out what repairing it does... any help?--DanIsReallyCool 12:03, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
if you repair it, then turn in on you will fill the building with gas (only the one building). Add some fire and you kill everyone in there - Lance

Dots Diner?[]
In notable loot it says; "Another U.S. Army: 30 Handy Flamethrower Recipes can be found in Dots Diner to the south." Is this the one at the Nuka Cola Plant? If so then I just wasted an hour looking for this thing. It doesn't belong on this page. Uzetaab 06:30, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
