Indestructible speaker bug?[]

There is a speaker in Puesta del Sol North that can't be destroyed, even though it does not blink red like an indestructible speaker should. There is a reference to it here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/959557-fallout-new-vegas/60221419. Should this be consiered a bug?50.41.91.111 20:30, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

  • This speaker is apparently NOT indestructible; I just destroyed it in my game. Apparently, the speaker must be activated somehow before it can be destroyed, but I'm not sure what activated it. One possibility is that getting all three of your companions in position does it, because that is one thing that I did in the interim. I think the bug is that the speaker shows up as being "inactive" (i.e., no lights of any kind on it) but still is capable of setting off your collar. --FFIX (talk) 22:24, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
  • After further research, it seems to be tied to getting Christine into position at the Remote Maintenance Terminal (the other two companions are apparently irrelevant). I happened to have a save from right before I set her up there. I confirmed that the speaker was still indestructible at that point. Then I went back and told her that she could use the terminal, completing Mixed Signals. After that, I could travel back to the speaker and destroy it. I suppose this is tied to the other changes that happen at the conclusion of these quests, such as the spawning of new Ghost People. I am considering adding this to the info on the Puesta del Sol page. Before I do, I would like to request input: First, can anyone else confirm this behavior in their own game, and second, does this seem appropriate as a bug or just a simple note? --FFIX (talk) 23:34, August 27, 2012 (UTC)

Xbox360 freeze bug[]

Im pretty sure the game can freeze up at any location while entering or leaving an area, should it be on here at all?

Possible bugfix[]

Ive had trouble starting the dlc, because after going to the the abandoned bos bunker and walking into the gassing room, it would always crash. Ive tried removing All my inventory to avoid any quest item conflicts and it would still crash. The simple fix for me, was to go back, travel to the divide (from the lonesome road dlc), enter the wreckage and immediatly leave the area and enter the bunker again. The dead money intro finally played through. This is on the steam falloutnv ultimate edition. --70.95.181.2 04:14, November 20, 2013 (UTC)

I have had the same problem, but unfortunately, the crash still occurs. --Jadebrain (talk) 15:14, July 2, 2014 (UTC)

Hi all, I'm stuck in the current situation, have all DLC (ultimate edt) last TU (5) but for some reason I can't enter in the freaking bunker, says [requires key]... I'm done with the others DLC's.

PS: I'm playing in Xbox(RGH) =D

Thanks in advance!--Brn888 (talk) 22:41, January 13, 2015 (UTC)
