Thanks for the Broken Steel spoiler jackass!
Anyone got any info about the source of the bounties, etc. It might be a bit spoilerific but currently the information level of this article is pretty low. I've not made level 14 with my unpleasant character yet so I am afraid I can't add anything at this time. --Trithemius 04:49, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Does not seem to be as useful as lawbringer since good characters that can be killed without reprocussions seem to be few and far between however raiders and talon company mercs will attack you as you wander the wasteland ANYWAYS the 5 cap reward of lawbringer is MUCH more easily recieved then the 15 cap contract kill.-Accountless avenger
- Other than the encounter with Junders Plunkett neither perk is very useful each returning, on average, fewer caps than Fortune Finder or Scrounger. Caps being one of the less useful commodities in the wastland as it is. 146.142.69.7 16:04, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
You can't get ears with Mister Sandman kills for some reason. Pafema 14:07, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
You *can* get ears/fingers as well as bad/good karma with mister sandman if your sneak status is Detected (go figure). If you are Hidden, you get no ears/fingers and no karma bump.
- Well you are not really getting a Sandman kill if you are detected, so Pafema was right. 67.172.16.255 18:13, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
How much karma do you lose per ear?[]
Anybody know what the karma loss is to include it in the articles? It looks like the karma gained per finger via the Lawbringer perk is +10, so is it -10 per ear? -mannon 21:00, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Can't seem to activate the perk.[]
Well, I got the perk, it's just that it's been days and I've still yet to receive any kind of note. I've traveled all over the map and collected a few ears since I've been waiting, but nothing's happening. <sad face>
If you don't get a note just go to scrapyard and try to get in the shack.
this is a REALLY stupid question but...[]
Okay so you MUST have negative karma to recieve this perk. Before I didnt notice the 'Perks' article saying that it was a requirment.
- That's not even a question:P Icko 18:11, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
...I can choose this perk and I'm running a "Very Good" character sooo...71.57.77.186 02:20, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Reward Per Ear[]
I'm only getting 10 caps. Maybe it is based on barter skill? Duncanxxxx 23:02, 26 July 2009 (UTC) Bold text
Scribe Bigsley, Too[]
In the article, it says you can "ear-farm" Desmond. The same is possible with Scribe Bigsley when he is an essential character. It's extremely hard to pickpocket him, but it's possible. I did this on the 360 version. JimmyBassatti 17:09, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
Natural Characters?[]
Does all natural characters count as good as far as this perk is concerned?--Player8 (talk) 22:47, August 4, 2012 (UTC)
Reason why the take ears[]
I noticed there is no historical reference for this, why they take ears that is. It started when beheading people and taking the head to confirm the kill was considered wrong, so they started taking ears like during WWII the Special Ops would take the ears of their kills should I throw something in or does everyone know this and I pointed it out for no reason....
