Is that a rocket in your pocket?[]
Why is there a specific dialog option to buy all his rocket souvenirs if you only need 5? Seeing as they cant be sold, dropped or taken out of your inventory this seems like a pretty big blunder on the part of the developers if you ask me. Oh well, its not like there isn’t plenty of other “quest related” items stuck in your inventory anyway. Check your reputation with Novac. It has to be Accepted or higher. Then talk to him again.
Infinite caps[]
In my game he has ~64000 caps (!) and selling him anything neither removes his caps nor adds me caps. Is there any solution to this problem?
Is there anyway to make him bet lower? I don't want the game to freeze from playing caravan with him...
New Patch[]
I haven't updated to the new patch, and I probably wont's because of the general nerfing it's causing, but can someone confirm if Cliff Briscoe is one of the merchants that have limited Caravan games?86.42.220.26 20:10, December 18, 2010 (UTC)
Random Mods "fixed"?[]
There's an edit here with (fixed) next to the entry about the ability to gain different mods from Cliff upon reloading from the main menu. Does this mean that this has been patched? And if so, for which platform(s)?
- As far as Xbox, it’s not working. He has the same mods in stock before and after reloading. Although, I can’t say for sure if it even worked before any of the patches. ReapTheChaos 18:11, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
Reset Cliff Briscoe’s inventory?[]
Does anybody know how to get Cliff’s inventory to reset? He has every last item I’ve ever sold him since the beginning of the game still in his inventory and its getting ridiculous to scroll through and see what he actually has.
I’ve tried the 3 day wait trick that works on other merchants, but seeing as he doesn’t stay in his store 24 hours it don’t work. I’m on Xbox so mods and console commands are out of the question. in the notes section,it says that he goes to a dark corner and picks his nose.someone should fix this.

No, it's not a unique animation. It is a normal "general idle". but unlike fallout 3 they are very rarely used in New Vegas.--Croquignol (talk) 09:05, October 29, 2014 (UTC)
Fencing[]
I've tried fencing Chinese Stealth Armour with Cliff, to remove the 'steal' option, but it doesn't work. I tried selling and buying in one dialogue and then selling, leaving and then buying and it doesn't work, it still shows up as 'steal' when I drop it. However, no Karma penalty applies when I just pick it up but I don't know if that's just with everything you've already stolen once. 2001:67C:2660:425:13:0:0:A0 12:54, November 25, 2019 (UTC)
Dialogue error[]
Not sure if it's already in wiki, or If it's irrelevant info to add, but I just noticed that even though subtitles states "I think It's time we gave something back to you..." he actually says "I think it's time we gave everything back to you..." not running any unofficial mods.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Fezder (talk • contribs).
