Ah, so as not to erase another's work, I won't directly edit the page but I do see a problem. Isn't the Cheyenne Mountains, both in real life and FOT the site of NORAD, not a nuclear testing facility? To the best of my knowledge, the only nuclear testing site in the US is the Nevada Test Site which is nowhere near Colorado.
As I said earlier, the Fallout world diverged from ours, so there might never have been a NORAD in the Fallout world. See: divergence. Ausir 19:56, 6 April 2006 (CEST)
Although that is true, it is stated in FOT that Vault 0 was NORAD and both Vault 0 and NORAD are situated in the Cheyenne Mountains. So, for the sake of argument, are we assuming that the world is partially or completly divergent?
- Well, FOT isn't canon anyway and in Van Buren (which also isn't really canon), Cheyenne Mountain is something entirely different. This article needs to be rewritten. Ausir 07:03, 7 April 2006 (CEST)
Cheyenne/Cheyenne Mountain[]
Colorado Springs is at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain. I live there. Fallout Tactics had something that looks pretty similar to the Cheyenne Mountain of Norad, but there was no big ruined city near it. it could be a base in Cheyenne Wyoming instead.
- It's clearly identified as Cheyenne Mountain in the game. The devs probably simply made a mistake. Ausir 23:49, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
gah, what are you all talking about! They obviously put the control center in Cheyenne Mountain, because that's where the Stargate is. *plot twist*!!!
