Appearance[]

should the "She also has the same name as the Lone Wanderer's mother." line realy be under the appearance topic? - RASIC 23:19, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Some of Nadine's dialogue refers to the game's opening, with the white lights and stuff, but if you want to move that to "Behind the scenes", you should. Not Trivia! Porter doesn't like Trivia. Nitty 23:21, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

OK then, feel free to edit it to make it sound better. - RASIC 23:24, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

water and rotating heads[]

it says that if you push her in the water her head will rotate, but this actually happened another time when swiming in the potomac, then Mrs watts (wattson?) the lady that aproches you about the android, and her head also started to spin, i suspect it has something to do with the water, can someone spawn some characters (on the PC of coarse) in the water and test what might cause this?Katikar 19:28, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

This can happen with any NPC. It's an engine glitch, and reloading fixes it, so it's nothing really to worry about.--Gothemasticator 20:38, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

Similar...[]

I just thought this was sort of interesting. Catherine shares the Lone Wanderer's mother's name. She also has a daughter around the Lone Wanderer's age. The scenario that she is in is also completely opposite to that of what the Lone Wanderer was in. In the Lone Wanderer's case, James deserted him. In Catherine's case, her child abandoned her. Both James and Nadine left them for a really different type of locale from what they were in. Not worth mentioning on the article, I just wanted to note it. ^-^ --Five Dog Talk 23:16, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

Swimming[]

PCPC I can confirm the swimming note. I watched her go almost as far out as the stern of the boat, sometimes sinking to the bottom, often "standing" in the water waving her arms while looking up as if in worship and swimming both above and below the water. It's possible to talk to her while she's underwater. Bwilderbeast 22:45, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

Dissapearence on all consoles[]

I met Catherine very early in the game without going to Point Lookout after that. Instead, I stayed a long time in the Wasteland (main quest, etc...). When I returned to the Duchess Gambit landing, she wasn't there and console commands like player.moveto and resurrect/kill didn't work (maybe her IDs are wrong?). She's not standing in the water as well. With this, the "Lost daughter" quest reward cannot be collected. Any idea how to get her back?

Seems as though she dissapeared oin my game as well. I'm playing on the PS3.

I'm concerned about the bugs statement in the article about this. It seems to claim that she always disappears and that you therefore can't turn in the quest, which is completely untrue. Also, I thought I had lost her on the PC version, but found her in the Duchess Gambit's engine room via the player.moveto console command. I would like to try to edit the article to reflect this, but I think it'll just be reverted. Maybe someone else can/will straighten this out eventually. --User:HunterZ(talk) 06:08, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

Mother-daughter bonding[]

If when you complete the quest and get thanked and paid by Catherine you then atttack her but not render her unconcious she will shout "I'm outta here" and run off the boat and hide, hostile,up the bank. Nadine will then leave the boat and run after her, still friendly until she reaches the road, where if the Wanderer takes no further action she will return, ocassionally followed by her mother, but only if the mother reverts to friendly. If the Wanderer persues the mother, upon getting close, Catherine will shout, "I'm outta here", and run further way. Sometimes through the underground door leading to the raiders who will then attack her as meat rendering her nconcious, sometimes into the water, and sometimes over the rubble pile to the south and out of the gaming area never to return although she can be located on the HP indicator as a red bar some 26 paces past the map. If Nadine gets trapped in the water the quickest way to return her to the boat is to travel to Point Look Out.--1000HrsFallout3 (talk) 04:56, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
