This talk page is only for discussing improvements to the page "Brotherhood Civil War."

Importance Edit

I've remove the {{delete}} template from the page. Since the article covers important historical events gathering them in one place I think it should stay. veryblackravenTalk 22:00, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Shouldn't there be more info in it? Since it's so short, why not give details on the ideologies of the BoS and the Outcasts, or their history as conflicting factions? Something to give depth to the Cold War. Right now its just a stub... I would put the stub tag here but I don't know how. And by the way, love your signature raven

Well, the idea is great. You're welcome to expand an article if you want to. veryblackravenTalk 14:23, June 11, 2011 (UTC)

Images Edit

I've been wondering what images we can put in this article. We could always spawn a squad of BoS Paladins next to some Outcasts and take a picture of them fighting. I can't because I'm on Xbox, but it's just a suggestion. --Wiseman of the Wastes 19:59, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

Pictures of the leaders would be appropriate. Perhaps an image file with a picture of both of them, split-screen style, for the infobox image. --Kris User Hola 20:02, July 7, 2011 (UTC)
That's not a bad idea actually, you could have them both head-to-head with a big 'vs' sign in the middle! Only joking... Still, if you knew how to do that, that would be really helpful.--Wiseman of the Wastes 20:06, July 7, 2011 (UTC)
Nice work to whoever added the image --Wiseman of the Wastes 21:33, July 7, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. :) veryblackraven 21:44, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

General things to add to the article Edit

This page could have a lot of info on it if we actually put some effort in. Here's a list of things we can include:

  • The base of operations for each faction
  • Ideology/beliefs of each faction
  • Technology used by each faction (weapons, armour, robots etc.)
  • Likely outcomes for the war (maybe, depends if Fallout Wiki Guidelines allow speculation)
  • The fact that the war will evetually end, as the Brotherhood Elders 'back West' will put Lyons 'in his place', according to Casdin.

If you have any other ideas, please feel free to add them. I wouldn't mind taking a lead roll in the construction of this article as well, but I want to know if more people are on board before we start. --Wiseman of the Wastes 20:26, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

Vault guidelines wouldn't allow speculation, but we can assume that the war has ended by 2281 since Veronica speaks of the war in the past tense (I think). So while we can't speculate on the outcome, we can at least state that the war had an outcome by 2281. --Kris User Hola 00:54, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

Epic image Edit

Just my comment to celebrate that toe to toe confrontation image. VN'!'

Legacy Edit

Just curious if there is proof of Sarah Lyons dying being canon, given that the good karma ending is usually canon, and that was the evil karma ending. Arciian (Enjin) 10:46, December 25, 2015 (UTC)

her death is mentioned on Quinlan's terminal on the Prydwen. Nick3258 (talk) 11:02, December 25, 2015 (UTC)

Biased and Not Encyclopedic Edit

This is not a good encyclopedia article, it's basically just a commentary about how great the Brotherhood Outcasts are. It needs sources to back up the claims about the Outcasts' superiority and it needs to focus less on these claims. It is also written from the Outcast's perspective, which is a big problem. It needs a neutral perspective 02:50, February 3, 2016 (UTC)
