It felt to me as if this whole location was there to mock me for attempting to find a whole in the invisible wall that runs the length of the western mountain range. Man I hate that. 67.149.196.9 01:53, October 31, 2010 (UTC)

To me, "you can go home" sounds kinda like, "there's nothing to see here" - with an unspoken "yet" on the end :D and considering the sheer size of the area beyond... I'd be shocked if this wasn't DLC-related. Centerflag982 01:26, November 10, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, there are a few map marker like this that seem to serve no purpose. Here's hoping there are epic DLCs planned for each of them. 67.149.196.9 09:50, November 12, 2010 (UTC)

Okay, what the hell was with the messages about the courier on there? If it's to do with the story I don't want to know, but it creeped me out. Felt like an ambush was coming on. "The divide"... "Courier six"... "you can go home courier". Creepy as hell. Was thinking perhaps it was a joke from the developers since you can't get past the wreckage, it seems to be the end of the game map. Although the Johnson guy in Primm mentioned something about a divide. AHHH !

Joshua Nash mentions that he hopes a storm from the Divide tears apart the courier that turned down the job to carry the platinum chip to New Vegas after seeing that Courier Six was the next on the list. Who is this mysterious other courier and could he have written the grafiti messages in the canyon wreckage for some reason?

The Divide could be referring the Grand Canyon, perhaps some folks view it as a divide.

The Divide could also refer to 'The Great Basin Divide'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Basin_Divide_in_north_Nevada http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Basin_Divide

or the "Great Western Divide" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Western_Divide

I think the Lonesome road refers to Route 50, which is north of Vegas, and is known as the loneliest road in America. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Route_50_in_Nevada

excerpt from Wikipedia...

"US 50 has a diverse route through the state, traversing the resort communities of Lake Tahoe, the state capital in Carson City, historical sites such as Fort Churchill State Historic Park, petroglyphs, alpine forests, desert valleys, ghost towns and Nevada's only national park, Great Basin National Park."

Sounds like lots of great opportunities for DLC adventures.

Future DLCs Id wager!

"You Can Go Home Courier" probably suggests a DLC where you explore your characters backstory/origin!

The other two may suggest DLCs in the areas I described above. Just thoughts.

Since that canyon goes west deeper into California, the Great Western Divide seems like the best fit. Oooooh, I really hope they do a backstory dlc where you meet the other Courier, it would be so cool!
