How can more Brahmin be obtained?

I bought one from Kelly in a random encounter, and since then, I've got them all over the place. They just seem to show up. Not sure if they do without buying them from her. Kind of a pain in Hangman's Alley because it's so cramped and I've got two that like to hang out in doorways. Even after adding a trough elsewhere. --98.210.149.114 07:28, December 7, 2015 (UTC)
Synth Brahmin[]
I just went to one of my settlements to find everyone shooting a brahmin. Once it died I looted it to find a Synth component and an Institute rifle. So either the Institute is now infiltrating settlements with brahmin, or I found a rather amusing bug. I went back a bit later and one of the settlers said something like "We showed the Institute we aren't afraid of them!" So it did seem to register as a synth attack. Probably a bug, but one I kind of hope doesn't get fixed. Brahmin synths make for a good easter egg, even if it's an unintentional one.--98.210.149.114 07:22, December 7, 2015 (UTC)

Is there any way to find out exactly what the bonus for having a Brahmin in a settlement is? Like +10% food production and 5 units of fertilizer a day? Do multiple Brahmin have an additive effect?
