What are we gonna gas? Nitpicker of the Wastes 16:24, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Tribals or....maybe....anyone seen the explosion in the trailer...maybe we plant these in the calvert mansiona nd let desmond go BOOM! CIA scumbag Butter 16:25, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

AKA the Nazi genocide shower. I am staying away from these things... TheLastNinJew 16:27, 21 June 2009 (UTC)The Last NinJew

Seconded! Wanderer Lao 18:36, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

So the explosives skill finally get something? FINALLY!! Gabriel Cortez 16:31, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Hate to break it to you...but according to amoralitys info AGAIn....theres oly like...what...17? Lucky PC bastards gett unlimited amounts though Butter 16:33, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Well that sucks. Guess they'll just be on display at my house. Gabriel Cortez 16:43, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Finally? And NinJew, can't you, like, cleave through their heads with a katana? Nitpicker of the Wastes 16:35, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
No but I can blow their heads off with a TAR 21 or a Desert Eagle. TheLastNinJew 16:42, 21 June 2009 (UTC) The Last NinJew
What? Yea it's the best grenade? So what? Would still be fun with something new. Gabriel Cortez 16:43, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
But gas? Gas isn't any fun. It smells bad. Burning soft drink seems more unique. And NinJew, *coughBozarcough*. Nitpicker of the Wastes 16:45, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Hmm, Methinks this grenade might finally give me a use for my Zhu-Rhong(sp?) pistol WouldYouKindly 17:37, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
According to info procured by me, they are useful (and very flammable) but very limited. All of them are be obtained in the An Antique Land quest. Also procured by me. Nitpicker of the Wastes 17:39, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Bitch, please. Spoilers are not welcome. Nitpicker of the Wastes 18:42, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

ITS EXCLUSIVE GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE!!!!!

It looks like the gears of war 2 gas grenade (when it explodes), just a different colour

do these things actually do any damage? I used it on myself and all I got was a couple of RADs

Bio-Gas lasts forever???[]

I just noticed, will this gas grenade thingy lasts the entire game or will it deplete? I tried it out for 24 hours game time and the gas cloud still didnt disappear... BloodOmelet 12:52 June 30,2009

As far as I can tell, Bio-Gas will stick around until you explode it. Magmortified 22:28, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Magmortified

... which gives us a rather unique way to "decorate" our houses, I suppose. Sure, you can gather all 17 grenades and display them proudly on a shelf, but since they look exactly like pulse grenades, why bother? Instead, throw all 17 of them inside your house... and be VERY mindful not to use firearms indoors from then on. Your house will always have a groovy, wavy effect going on in the air! 12.204.48.130 07:55, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Nice idea actually "Hey marie this howse is got'sa purty wavy effect (Hiccup)"

Mr.Wolf 09:08, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

They make a good trap for intruders!

Also I think that this new grenade was not suppose to be limited....In the quest Antique Land, soil sample #3 said that this muck hole is a good place to gather gas such as the one the Bio Gas is using... Anyone thinks that makes sense??? In a quicker way, I think this weapon is like a schematic weapon... BloodOmelet 15:23 July 3, 2009 (UTC)

Drain Health Effect[]

Its Maybe late for this, but ive been fooling around with these grenades and remarked that they actually continue to drain health even after its inflicted damage for like 3 seconds. Could anyone try this and comfirm? --Steproy2000 01:43, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

It might be that the gas is dangerous to breath in. It is flammable. Nitty 01:45, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
Actually, this grenade does some small DoT. This can, in fact, kill NPCs such as random Tenpenny Residents. PC confirmed, "Very Easy" PC kill confirmation. In the GECK under Special Effects/Explosion look for DLC04BioGasGrenadeExplosion and double click it. You will find an Enchantment (which might be responsible for the DoT) as well and Placed Impact Object (which is the gas cloud). The Enchantment is most likely applied to all struck by the explosion, since clusters of NPCs take damage/die through DoT while only one grenade was reverse-pickpocketed. --Radnus 81.205.186.16 14:36, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
He's lying, pay no attention. :/
In any event, thanks for confirming. Nitty Tok. 14:39, July 10, 2010 (UTC)

only 13?[]

i dont know what you guys are smoking but with careful searching of each site i got 17 bio gas canistersToolazytomakeaaccount 17:24, October 22, 2009 (UTC)

glitches to use infinete bio gas canisters[]

there is a glitch i found when using a missile launcher on a sentry it broke after the first shot and dident kill it so i whent to grenades and equiped a frag grenade and threw the first one he was still alive but for some reason my charecters hands looked wierd and my frag grenade count was still the same i then spamed grenades at him and killed him then spamed them at any other enemy i came across but when i equiped my hunting rifle i killed some super mutants at range then tryed to re equip my grenades and the glitch wasent working

it works like this equip a low level missle launcher fire it untill it brakes then equip any mine or grenade in your inventory then start throwing them at enemies grenades cannot be picked up but mines can so you can start out with 2 bottlecap mines and throw 20 of them the pick them up and throw another 20 then you have 44 of them

the reason i mention this is it should work on bio gas canisters i brought fallout 3 goty edetion a month back but havent played it yet as i have been playing bioshock 2 then aliens vs predator but i havent actualy played it yet when i do im sure it will allso work with bio gas canisters making it posible to throw a endless amount of them this would be extremly usefull in many ways e.g use the other glitch mentioned here to kill anyone without making others hostile to make a entire area a huge trap e.g throw 30 of them in a area and a few frag mines and wait for a enemy or use them to defend areas e.g big town throw a load at the area where they spawn and the bridge and a mine at each area and boom

allso there are offcourse other uses like decorate areas

This is a stupid post. I'd delete it, but I'm not entirely sure on the rules about it. Can I get some back up this is irrelevant? Vault-BA 20:02, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

Bear trap[]

Maybe there's a small spark when the trap shuts. It is rusty, after all which makes sparks from friction more likely. --Kris mailbox 15:53, August 22, 2010 (UTC)
