[edit] Behind the scenes
Junktown was a town in FO1, which has Brahmin, but no slaughterhouse or distribution for Brahmin meat. It was discovered by Vault 13's Vault Dweller that Doc Morbid had been supplying human bits that were being sold as Iguana Bits in the Hub. This is possibly a reference to the 1973 movie Soylent Green, in which an over populated Earth is fed on the recycled remains of dead citizens.
