From The Vault
Swamplurks are a variation of Capital Wasteland's Mirelurk which inhabit the swamps of Point Lookout. They are identical to their Wasteland counterparts except for their green-tinged shells due to the swampy environment.
[edit] Statistics
Swamplurk's stats are identical to those of standard Capital Wasteland Mirelurks.
- These are usually found in the inner swamp areas of Point Lookout and are found in swarms. They will not hesitate to attack and will usually do so in groups of 2-3. This makes it easier to attack them with large spread weapons but hard to fend off if the player finds themselves cornered.
- Swamplurks and some Swamplurk Queens are found en masse in the Sacred Bog so it's recommended to stock up on grenades and meds.
- Their G.E.C.K. ID designates them as "Swamplurks".
- Swamplurks seem to be missing their extra vestigial limbs on their front.
- On the PC version of Point Lookout there is a glitch where all Swamplurks are listed friendly and won't attack.
- There's a bug wich show's Swamplurks names as normal Mirelurks and Swamplurk Queens as normal Swamplurks (confirmed on PC)
