Susan Lancaster is a former slaver from Paradise Falls who now lives in Tenpenny Tower as its resident "courtesan". She is one of several bigoted residents you must try to convince to change her mind if you are attempting to help move Roy Phillips' ghouls into Tenpenny Tower.

A love letter in her room reveals that she is having an affair with Edgar Wellington II. Showing this letter to Millicent Wellington will cause her to murder both Edgar and Susan for their treachery.

Dialogue between Susan and Herbert "Daring" Dashwood reveals that she is carrying on an affair with the retired adventurer as well! Less surprising are the "visits" she has with the disloyal husband, Irving Cheng. She can also be found in bed with Doctor Banfield and Michael Hawthorne.

In fact, Susan can be found in a different bed every night of the week between 10PM and midnight. On Monday she's in Wellington's bed, the Doctor has her both Tuesday and Thursday night, she's with Hawthorne on Wednesday, Mr. Cheng on Friday, and Sunday nights are spent with Herbert (perhaps Saturdays are Ladies Nights.) Even after moving in with Mr. Burke, she continues her weekly rounds, and never gets around to sharing a bed with him.

She is one of the targets for enslavement that Eulogy put a special bounty on. If she is killed by Millicent Wellington you will still be able to complete Strictly Business by turning in the rest of the targets but you won't get the 250 caps for enslaving her. Also note that the same thing happens if you convinced Tenpenny to allow Roy Phillips et al. to move in - Ms. Lancaster will be residing in Mr. Burke's quarters if you took the mediated approach (she didn't leave the tower.)

Another note about Lancaster is if you enslaved her then rescued her from Paradise Falls BEFORE doing the Tenpenny Tower quest, you won't able to talk to her to "convince" her to let ghouls to move in. She will only just says, "You saved me from those bastards, I will never forget it." but you won't able to engage any dialogue with her. So easiest is to either kill her or show the love letter to Millicent Wellington to complete the Tenpenny Tower quest.

Bugs

The Strictly Business quest is bugged. If you've captured several of the targets, Grouse will greet you, thank you for bringing in an NPC, then pay you your 250 cap bounty and issue a new slave collar. As a result, you can end up with several collars in your inventory, and as they are flagged as quest items, you cannot drop them. This bug does not seem to be related to possession of the key to The Box nor talking to a captured NPC.

also, there seems to be a bug in the 360 version where you cannot initiate a conversation with her after doing the Strictly Business quest.

Appearances

Susan Lancaster only appears in Fallout 3.
