The survival guide manuscript is listed in the GECK as a book, and contains the text "I am the schematics for the bottlecap mine." It has no icons, no world model, no value, no weight, no attached script, and does not teach anything. It is also marked as a quest item, and cannot be removed from the player's inventory without the use of console commands.
