Appearances
Super-Ego appears in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Old World Blues.
Bugs
- It is possible that when in combat with Super Ego, he may begin to 'fly' or hover around the player. It's treads and arms may become detached from the main body. This bug only makes Super Ego harder to kill (even with V.A.T.S).
- Upon death, with a long range Stealth Critical kill (i.e a hidden Sneak Attack Critical with a Sniper), the player may find that Super Ego's body may have disappeared. To fix this just reload the game before you killed it and kill him from a closer range.
Behind the scenes
- In psychology, the superego is the part of the psyche that acts as a conscience and regulates socially appropriate behaviour. Considering the hostile nature of the robot and his passive dialogue lines ("I hope we can still be friends after this!"), it appears as if Super-Ego is experiencing quite the moral conflict.
