Sun of Atom is a radioactive Ghoul found in the basement of the Holy Light Monastery. Presumably he is either worshiped as a living idol of Atom, or is used to help irradiate the Aqua Pura to make Holy Water.
Sun of Atom is not hostile when you first see him, but will become hostile if he himself or any members of the monastery are attacked. He may become hostile through certain dialogue options with Mother Curie III as well.

- Sun of Atom is one of two non-hostile ghouls in the monastery. The other being Atom's Champion.
- His name plays on the homophones sun (he glows) and son (child of/generated from the power of the atom).
