From The Vault
Strictly Profitable refers to an unmarked and repeatable quest in Fallout 3.
After completing Strictly Business, Grouse in Paradise Falls pays you for every slave you bring him. He also provides you with the necessary equipment (Slave Collars, Mesmetron power cells). The Mesmetron power cells cost a rather steep price at 200 for 10; but with enslaving one person you gain 250 Caps, making around 50 caps. You can make upwards to 2300 if you use only one cell per person.
[edit] Reward
- Not every NPC can be enslaved using the Mesmetron, only pre-determined ones selected by Bethesda Softworks. Occasionally you will find that your targets run away or become hostile towards you (excluding the 4 VIP's in Grouse's Quest Strictly Business.) Additionally, if you stun somebody in a public place, for example Rivet City, the whole population turns against you for a set time period (usually 4 days for the PC version) but it is possible to avoid such situations by mesmerizing target, quickly get into dialog, then when slave collar is placed and said target is told to go to Paradise Falls press the wait button and wait for about 3 hours.
- It is advised to save before every attempt at enslaving a npc for some may need to be mesmerized multiple times.

- Do NOT mesmerize Angela Staley and put the slave collar on her and send her to Paradise Falls for the game will freeze at the loading screen every time you attempt to fast travel to any location(Xbox 360)
