Strategic Nuclear Moose[1] is an unmarked quest in Fallout: New Vegas.
Walkthrough
Brewer's beer bootlegging is a bootleggers shack. The man who lived here, Gourd, planned to market his own alcoholic beverage called Strategic Nuclear Moose. Unfortunately, the cazadores outside killed him before he could get the business off the ground. With a Lockpick skill of 50 the player can open the cellar door and find Gourd's secret brewery down the stairs. There is a key to this door in the main room to the left of the locked door, on top of the bookshelf with a Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap.
Once inside, there is a key under the Big Book of Science, located near the chemistry set in the room in the cellar. This key goes to a "hard" locked gun cabinet outside the small room with the sign reading, "Strategic Nuclear Moose - And God Said Let Them Have Beer".
Behind the scenes
- "Strategic Nuclear Moose" is likely a reference to the real life beer "Tactical Nuclear Penguin" made by a company called BrewDog.
