Stimpak, or stimulation delivery package, is a type of hand-held medication used for healing the body. This item consists of a syringe for containing and delivering the medication and a gauge for measuring the status of the stimpak's contents. When the medicine is injected, it provides immediate healing of the body's minor wounds.
Health dispensers used during the Anchorage Reclamation, manufactured by Lee Rapid Pharmaceuticals, have an identical delivery method, which hints that stimpaks are also a product of the company.
Variants
Stimpak
The regular version of the drug. It heals only some wounds, but it doesn't have any side effects.
Super stimpak
An advanced version, while it heals more severe wounds, it also has unpleasant side effects. The super version comes in a hypodermic, but with an additional vial containing more powerful drugs than the basic model and a leather belt to strap the needle to your limb, an indication of a prolonged release infusion of the drug perhaps for increased absorption. The super stimpak is much less common in the wasteland than the standard stimpak.
Ultra stimpak
The following is based on information from Fallout Tactics. |
Even more advanced than a super stimpak, the ultra stimpak not only immediately heals both minor and major wounds, it also induces a strong regenerative effect in patients for an excessive period of time. Ultra stims are, understandably, incredibly rare finds.

Health dispenser
Health dispensers are stationary health stations found in the Anchorage Reclamation simulation, which might indicate that they were also used during the actual Anchorage Reclamation itself as well. Although immobile, they are reusable and more powerful than regular stimpaks, as they restore your health to full no matter how low it is.
