Background

Glasses are frames bearing lenses, worn in front of the eyes either for vision correction or eye protection from light. Most are otherwise purely cosmetic, but some provide bonuses to players.

Authority glasses

Large reflective glasses that are synonymous with NCR Rangers.
Eyeglasses

"Sunco" eyeglasses are used to correct vision problems people may have. They have rounded square, black frames.
Reading glasses

Reading glasses are classic fabricated glasses for those who suffer from presobyopia, a condition that comes with age and makes focusing on near objects, specifically text, more difficult. From the ancient Greek, meaning "old eyes" or "elder eyes".
Child reading glasses

Child reading glasses are the children's version of reading glasses. When worn by adults, they are much larger and will hover in front of the wearer's forehead.
Sunglasses

Slightly shaded glasses to protect the eyes from the sun.
Tinted reading glasses

Tinted reading glasses are similar to regular reading glasses, but have dark tinted lenses.
Tortiseshell glasses

"Protecto" tortiseshell glasses are dark, tinted spectacles, with frames made from a brownish orange flecked plastic. They are rather difficult to find.
Lucky shades

Cosmetically identical to sunglasses, the shades add +1 to Luck.
Cryptochromatic spectacles

Special eye wear developed by the Chinese to decipher hidden encrypted messages, like the sequence needed in order to gain access to the Chinese intelligence bunker.
Desmond's eyeglasses

Worn by Desmond Lockheart, these glasses provide a bonus to Explosives and Small Guns.
Dr. Li's glasses

Unique glasses that were cut from the final game, and were meant to be worn by Dr. Madison Li.
Dr. Klein's glasses

Glasses that used to belong to Dr. Klein before he became a think tank. They provide a bonus to Intelligence and Repair.
Dr. Mobius' glasses

Glasses worn by Dr. Mobius before he became a think tank. They provide a bonus to Intelligence and Explosives.
Lag-Bolt's shades

Unique sunglasses worn by Lag-Bolt. They provide a +3 bonus to Sneak and Lockpick.
Three Dog's glasses

Unique glasses worn by Three Dog. They appear similar to reading glasses, but have extremely dark lenses.
