This is an overview article, listing content appearing in multiple games. |
|
A space suit is a piece of protective clothing found in the Fallout 3 add-on Mothership Zeta, Fallout: New Vegas, the Fallout 4 add-on Nuka-World, the Creation Club content "Morgan's Space Suit," Fallout 76, and Van Buren.
Variants
Spacesuit (Fallout 3)
Originally worn by astronaut Hartigan during the 1960s Space Race, he was captured by Mothership Zeta along with his capsule during a low-orbit mission. The spacesuit can be found on his body and is required to be worn in order to spacewalk during the quest Among the Stars.
Space suit
A standard suit for travel in the void of space. Although a space suit is designed to block out harmful interstellar radiation, this suit will not provide protection from radiation sources.
Spacesuit costume
The spacesuit costume is similar in appearance to the hazmat suit. Despite the fact that it is used just by mannequins at Nuka-World, it provides actual resistance and is considered a quest item during Trip to the Stars.
Morgan's space suit
Most closely resembling the red-and-gray REPCONN Aerospace space suit, Morgan's space suit is based on the TranStar Industries space suit worn by Morgan Yu, the protagonist of Prey (2017). It provides the same amount of Radiation Resistance as a hazmat suit, and can also be modified with ballistic weave to provide Damage Resistance as well.
Spacesuit (Fallout 76)
A silver spacesuit can be found in Fallout 76 as an outfit. It is silver and is similar to the appearance of Mothership Zeta's spacesuit.
Spacesuit jumpsuit
In Fallout 76, the Atomic Shop features an orange spacesuit and helmet that can be purchased for 800 .
CC-00 power armor
The CC-00 power armor was produced by the USSA some time before the Great War. A suit would be lent to Hubris Comics and its Captain Cosmos studio within the Hub 360 office building to kindle support for the failing Mars Shot Project. It also appears in Fallout 76 as the Captain Cosmos paint and Dark matter paint, originally available through The Legendary Run.
Deep Spacewalk power armor
A suit of power armor resembling a spacesuit was featured in Season 14 of Fallout 76. It is a paint scheme that can be applied to any model of power armor. The name implies that it was used for spacewalks and the scoreboard shows artwork of three suits on the lunar surface raising an American flag, styled after the raising of the flag on Iwo Jima. Enclave and USSA emblems are on its chest while an Enclave flag appears on the shoulder.
Notes
The space suits in Fallout 3 and New Vegas do not have an oxygen supply connected, and cannot be used in the same manner as a rebreather.
