South Boston High School is a location in the South Boston neighborhood of Boston in 2287.

Background[]

Built adjacent to the Dorchester Height monument, this school has seen better days, and has been taken over by a gang of raiders.[1]

Layout[]

As the front entrance of the school is blocked, access is only possible by proceeding through a raider camp to the south, where a duffle bag is found in the shack on the east side. Inside the building itself, the Sole Survivor will find a locker room, bathrooms, and a small closet on the first floor, as well as a supply closet on the second floor. The supply closet has a chemistry station and an Advanced-locked safe.

Notable loot[]

  • Four Vault-Tec lunchboxes - The first is on the ground in the pile of mud just to the right of the entrance on the first floor. The second is on the ground outside the men's restroom on the first floor, around the corner to the right of the entrance. The third and fourth are in and near open lockers in the northwest corner of the first floor, under the collapsed flooring leading up to the second floor.

Notes[]

In the small closet opposite the men's restroom on the first floor, one can find the dismembered limbs and torso of a marble statue. The statue pedestal is in the graveyard of the South Boston Church, located a few blocks east of the school.

Appearances[]

South Boston High School only appears in Fallout 4.

"A high school close to the Dorchester Height monument is in a terrible state, with a northern wing (overlooking the Gwinnett Restaurant) exposed to the elements. The main entrance is blocked, meaning access is via the southern wing, now surrounded by wreckage of a small Raider camp. Inside, the few accessible rooms have mostly been picked clean, aside from the contents of a safe (Advanced)."
