Located next to the Charles River, the area consists of a run-down house with some furniture and a relatively small farm. It is initially occupied by a single father and his two children, all of whom are unnamed.
This location will be controlled by the Brotherhood of Steel if the Sole Survivor convinces them to assist during the iteration of Feeding the Troops at this settlement.
- Just east of the settlement is the Minuteman outpost, with a bed, cooking stove, various chems, bottles of alcohol and a laser musket. Approaching the tree house may trigger a fight between mirelurks and feral ghouls.
- A sentry bot checkpoint is located very close to the settlement, just over the hill to the northwest. If outside of its cage, the sentry bot may often be heard engaging nearby respawning packs of mongrel dogs. The sentry bot itself is hostile, does not regain its health over time and will not respawn if killed.
- To the north of the settlement is a large statue that is currently being welded by a single, high-level raider. The raider will respawn every few days when the map cell resets.
Somerville Place only appears in Fallout 4.
Behind the scenesEdit
|The following is based on unverified behind the scenes information and has not been confirmed by canon sources.|
There is in fact a location named Somerville in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, however it is in a very different location. The city by that name is actually North of Cambridge, just East of where the Corvega assembly plant appears on the map.
