Soldiers are members of the US Army in 2077.
Background
Members of the US Army, they were dispatched to Sanctuary Hills to ensure the safety of the residents there shortly before the nukes struck Boston. Two power armored soldiers were posted with the officer at Vault 111 to maintain order.
The skeletal remains of various soldiers can be found within the Commonwealth in 2287, especially in derelict military outposts.
