From The Vault
Small Energy Cell, Energy Cell or simply Small Energy is an item of ammunition in Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. It is a small, self-contained energy storage unit often associated with one-handed energy weapons and acts essentially as a very powerful battery or capacitor.
There is a more powerful version of this ammo called Heavy Energy Cell.
[edit] Fallout and Fallout 2
In Fallout 2, a small energy cell can also be used to fuel the Highwayman.

[edit] Fallout 3
Small Energy Cells in Fallout 3 bear a striking resemblance to 3 regular AA batteries taped together.
Energy cells are most common on robots, however merchants sell them in large amounts. Unfortunately, they sell them for at least 2 caps each, making them quite pricey.
