Sledgehammers are melee weapons in Fallout and Fallout 2.

CharacteristicsEdit

The sledgehammer was used in the pre-War times for demolition or industrial works. It is not considered powerful, but a player character with a high Strength can find the sledgehammer as an effective weapon for a limited time, as many other melee weapons outclass this weapon.

• One can be found in a small hut south of the Shady Sands garden in Fallout.
• Shark in Junktown carries one in Fallout.
• Sulik starts with one in Fallout 2.
