Silver is a former citizen of Megaton hiding out in the only habitable house in Springvale in 2277.

BackgroundEdit

Silver was born in 2255.

Silver, 22, was a prostitute who worked for Colin Moriarty in Megaton before they had a falling out. She ran away with her share of her earnings (or so she says) and is hiding out in Springvale, just outside of Vault 101. Silver is now a pitiful psycho junkie and lives her life in constant fear of reprisal from Moriarty. Her name is a reference to her very light blond, almost silvery hair.^[1]

• Following in His Footsteps, 300 Pieces of Silver: Moriarty will ask you to kill her in return for information about your dad. You have the choice to either really kill her, get a varying amount of caps from Silver to pay her debt, or tell Moriarty she is gone without taking any caps from her (which will earn you good Karma). Upon her death she will have 100 bottle caps if you offered to tell Moriarty she is gone with no reward or 400 bottle caps otherwise.

• Silver's voice appears to have been recorded by two different actors.
• It is possible for the player to receive the caps from Silver even if Moriarty hasn't asked you to get them yet.
• You will not lose Karma for killing her if you first talk to her and use the "You'd better calm down, before I put you down" dialogue option.
