Sierra's Nuka-Cola kingdom

Sierra Petrovita is a 26-year old[1] Nuka-Cola addict (It is not possible for the PC to get addicted to regular Nuka-Cola, although Nuka-Cola Quantum has a 10% chance of addiction) living in Girdershade in the year 2277. Sierra is blissfully and innocently unaware of her neighbor Ronald Laren's obsession with her or his unsavory intentions with her.

Contents

[edit] Background

Sierra was born 2251[2].

[edit] Daily schedule

Sierra stays in her house all day drinking nuka cola and doing other miscellaneous stuff.

[edit] Interactions with the player character

She has her own Nuka-Cola "museum," (really just a display of her collection within her shack) which she gives tours in. After completing the tour she will give you an Ice Cold Nuka-Cola. Taking the tour initiates The Nuka-Cola Challenge quest in which the Lone Wanderer must gather 30 Nuka-Cola Quantums for 40 Bottle caps per bottle. Completing the quest her way grants the player good karma.

Should you instead help Ronald Laren in his quest to sleep with Sierra by giving him the Quantums (which he then gives to Sierra), she completely misunderstands his subsequent sexual innuendo and believes he intends to propose marriage to her. The player will receive 40 Bottle caps (but, if you succeed in a speech check you can get 80 Bottle caps) as well as bad karma.

Main article: Mississippi Quantum Pie (quest)

After completing her mission to obtain a large supply of Nuka-Cola Quantum, if you bring her 1 Nuka-Cola Quantum, 1 bag of Flour and 1 bottle of Vodka, she can make you a Mississippi Quantum Pie.

[edit] Inventory

Apparel Weapon Other item On death
Wasteland Outfit - Nuka-Cola Ear

[edit] Notes

  • The Pristine Vending Machine near her door is used for storing Nuka-Cola Quantums during and after the quest The Nuka-Cola Challenge. The key does not exist.
  • With the Quantum Chemist perk obtained, it is possible to steal most of the Nuka-Colas in Petrovita's home, converting them into Nuka-Cola Quantums, and handing them in to her instead. Whilst there is karma loss, it makes the quest shorter, and frees up more Quantums in the wasteland to be used as Nuka-Grenades.

[edit] Appearances

Sierra Petrovita only appears in Fallout 3.

[edit] Behind the scenes

  • There are 65 Nuka-Colas in Sierra Petrovita's House (including on top of the Nuka-Cola Machine), 71 if you include the 5 Ice-Cold Nuka Colas in her fridge and the one she gives you at the end of her tour. This is far more than the runner-up location, the 19 Nuka-Colas in the jack-knifed truck with Old Olney's Nuka-Cola Quantum delivery.

[edit] Bugs

  • It is not recommended that you have Fawkes with you should you ever enter Sierra's house, as he may attempt to kill her for some reason.
  • If you kill Sierra and then steal items from her house, she may protest, even though she is dead. (PC)
  • a Radscorpion/Giant Radscorpion may occasionally appear near the town; if you go into Sierra's home while it is following you it will follow you inside. It could possibly kill Sierra, or if you kill it first, be warned; it will come back to life every 24 hours or so.
