The Shovel is a weapon which is added to Fallout 3 with the Point Lookout add-on. It is used by the Swampfolk.
- Shovels can only be repaired with other shovels.
- Shovels are also used to dig in piles of loose dirt. (Despite this, there are very few loose piles of dirt in Point Lookout. Only a small fraction of those actually have any treasure in them.)
- A shovel is required to dig up the buried treasure on the Dove Delta, however, there is one located nearby.
