The Sheriff's badge is a miscellaneous item in Fallout 2

It is an item given to the Chosen One by Sheriff Marion upon agreeing to help him maintain order in the town of Redding. It can be equipped in one of your hands, although there does not appear to be any real advantage in doing so. Nonetheless, from a role-playing perspective it can be fun to carry around while working as acting Sheriff. The badge is unable to be given to or sold to anyone as it is essentially worthless, except for the aforementioned role playing standpoint.
