Scribe Jameson oversees the archives in the Citadel and is charged with protecting the whole of the Brotherhood's knowledge. More importantly, she keeps the scrolls that record the deeds of all Brotherhood members.
She also goes into significant detail on the inner workings of the Brotherhood, explaining the different orders, how the chain of command works, etc. Very nice if one is interested in the story of the Brotherhood.
When asked about the Enclave, she says almost nothing, stating they're "not worth discussing" and hoping soon "we won't have to think about them at all."
"If we value the pursuit of knowledge, we must be free to follow wherever that search may lead us." I found that in an ancient book. The words of wisdom of one of the greatest men of the former civilization."
"Which is why I must now ask you for your help. Each Brother wears a Holotag like the one you found. Should you find any of the fallen Brethren in the field, I ask that you return their tags to me, so that I might record their deeds in the scrolls."
Scribe Jameson will sometimes quote "If we value the pursuit of knowledge, we must be free to follow wherever that search may lead us." This quote is by Adlai E. Stevenson Jr., from a speech at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, October 8, 1952. Stevenson (1900 - 1965) was a US diplomat & Democratic politician.
