Scientists are unlucky techies found dead across the Capital Wasteland.

BackgroundEdit

Scientists are people who love to find reason in everyday occurrences, whether it be from physics, chemistry, biology or anything in between. However, in this pursuit for excessive knowledge about these occurrences, it can sometimes blow up in their faces... sometimes quite literally.

LocationsEdit

There is a wrecked highway south of Raven Rock with a truck on it. If the player approaches the truck, an explosion goes off inside the truck and the body of a scientist flies out the back, off the bridge. He is carrying a Big Book of Science. There is a chance that a piece of his corpse may stay on the bridge, allowing easier looting without running into the mirelurks under the highway. (Using console commands to spawn him will make him hostile)

Another scientist can be found outside Vault 87. This female scientist was probably killed by the huge amount of radiation which lingers outside the Vault entrance.

Yet another scientist is found dead in a wastelander camp behind a large body of water. The body of a drowned raider can be found near the bloody corpses of the scientist and a wastelander, implying that he murdered them.

The final scientist is found dead near a dumptruck in Greener Pastures Disposal Site. She is found lying near a pile of radioactive barrels and a Big Book of Science is found next to her corpse.
