The scavenger's bridge is an unmarked location north of the Red Racer factory in the Capital Wasteland. A scavenger and his/her dogs have made their home here, providing a trading post of sorts.

Layout

This bridge runs east to west over a highway that goes north and south. Below the bridge is a blue truck that was apparently hauling bathroom fixtures. From below you may climb up the northwest slope onto the bridge. Raiders frequently spawn throughout the areas to the south, most notably at the bizarre mole rat race track that is located close by, on the underpass to the north, so expect some conflict.

• Chinese Army: Special Ops Training Manual - on a shelf in the scavenger's shelter. Must be stolen.
• Duck and Cover! - on a shelf in the scavenger's shelter. Must be stolen.
• Grognak the Barbarian - on a shelf in the scavenger's shelter. Must be stolen.

Notes

• Blowing up the derelict vehicles below or around the bridge can make the scavenger and the dogs become hostile.
