Ruby is a prostitute from the Texas town of Carbon. She is the first one to greet the player character who enters the Carbon. She is available for sexual encounters and asks the player to help her find her cat, Mr. Pussy. Unfortunately, the only known living cat in the wasteland was found dead, killed by monsters in the crater. Later in game, after raiders attacked the town, she tells that her locket was stolen by them, and asks the player to retrieve it during his attack on raider base, the Mill. She admits knowing Harold, who travelled through town some time ago.
